Check the Connecticut Science Center’s online ticketing page early for the widest selection of dates and prices. The earlier you buy, the more you can save.

Do members need to worry about plan-ahead pricing?
Connecticut Science Center members don’t need to worry—membership pricing and benefits are not affected by plan-ahead pricing. However, if you plan to bring additional guests, we recommend purchasing their tickets in advance to get the best available price.

Do I have to visit on the date I buy a ticket for?
Tickets are nonrefundable, but you’re welcome to change your visit date after purchase. Unless changed in advance, tickets are only valid for the date indicated. Make sure to plan accordingly.

What if I need to change my ticket date?
Tickets are nonrefundable, but you’re welcome to change your visit date after purchase. If the new date has a higher admission price, you’ll simply pay the difference. Unfortunately, no refunds are given if you choose a date with a lower ticket price.

Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, but ticket prices at the door reflect the same Plan-Ahead Pricing and may be higher or limited based on availability. Online purchase in advance is always recommended.

What if the price drops after I buy my ticket?
No need to worry—ticket prices for your selected date will never go down. With Plan Ahead Pricing, the earlier you buy, the better your deal. Once you secure your tickets, you’ve locked in the lowest possible rate for that day. Prices will only rise as demand increases.

Does Plan Ahead Pricing apply to all tickets?
Plan Ahead Pricing applies to all General Admission tickets, including any discounted admission options. This means pricing will vary based on the date and how early you purchase, regardless of the type of general admission ticket you choose.
However, our Butterfly Encounter and Movies are always offered at the same great low rates year-round and are not subject to Plan Ahead Pricing.
