The technology for prosthetics has advanced very little since ancient times, constructed of basic materials such as wood and metal and held together with leather attachments. Efforts are now underway to revolutionize prosthetics with the introduction of high-tech robotics. Hear from James Beaty, a member of the Biomedical Engineering Group at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory about efforts that are now underway to revolutionize prosthetics with high-tech robotics.
