Overnights
The Connecticut Science Center is proud to present its Super Science Challenge Overnight Program!
You and your group will participate in our hands-on egg drop challenge where they will think like engineers and compete in designing a vehicle that can house an egg and cause it to survive a 100 ft. drop! Participants will use skill and creativity to design, test, and re-design their vehicles in our labs then watch as their vehicles are dropped from our 6th floor bridge.
The cost of the program is $55 per person (including chaperones). This cost includes free exploration of our exhibit galleries, access into our 3-D digital theater, and a light snack. The morning portion of the program includes a light breakfast, access into our gift shop, and free exploration of the Science Center for the remainder of the day and a patch for completing the program.
Overnights are available for groups of 20 or more and are open on all-boy, all-girl, and co-ed nights.
A chaperone to child ratio of 1:5 is required (1:1 is acceptable). Overnights that take place on Friday evenings will begin at 6:00pm end at 8:00am on Saturday morning. Overnights that take place on Saturday evenings will begin at 6:00pm and end at 8:00am Sunday morning.
