What is a vortex?
By definition a vortex is a cyclone swirl of air, gas, fire or water.
A whirlpool is a vortex.
A tornado is a vortex.
A hurricane is a vortex.
A black hole is a vortex.
And that slurping sound as the water goes down your drain? That's caused by air breaking through the vortex's core.
