Inspiring students and sparking their interest is the key to developing future generations of scientists, engineers, healers, educators, inventors, mathematicians and better-informed citizens of the world.
Our goals are to increase public engagement in science, enhance public science content knowledge and skills acquisition, increase STEM and science education career awareness, foster minority participation and achievement in science, and to promote science as a means for understanding how the world works.
At the Connecticut Science Center, we’ll accomplish this by offering comprehensive field trips that align with the CT Science Frameworks, providing special classroom and live science experiences, partnering with a range of organizations to promote careers in science, and presenting inquiry-based professional development.
These represent just the tip of the in-depth and expansive programs we’ll be creating through our efforts to help students and learners of all ages explore important issues for our future.
