Water Play
Experience pools of water with floating blocks…gushing fountains with brightly colored plastic balls rising high in the air. Playing with water offers direct experience with forces and properties found in nature – the underpinnings of scientific investigation. It allows children to hone their problem-solving skills, working individually and collaboratively. Don your raincoat, roll up your sleeves and discover the magic of water play!
Can You See?
Inspired by Walter Wick’s search and find activities that underlie “I Spy” and his “Can you See What I See?” book series, a unique interactive game of riddles and puzzles will challenge younger visitors in their observation skills. At this seated area, children will search and find hidden objects in large details of Walter Wick’s fanciful photographic creations. Race against time; see how many you can find!
